Firm information

Northline Counsel is a multi-jurisdictional advisory practice operating through three affiliated entities: Northline Counsel LLC, a Georgia limited liability company registered in the State of Georgia, United States of America; Northline Counsel Sp. z o.o., a Polish limited liability company registered in the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw; and a Ukrainian advocates’ association registered with the Ukrainian National Bar Association. The three entities are connected through a written cooperation agreement that governs cross-border mandates, referrals, and operational coordination. Each entity operates under the professional rules of its own jurisdiction and retains independent professional and financial responsibility for the mandates it conducts.

Bar admissions and regulatory authority

The practitioners of Northline Counsel LLC are admitted to the State Bar of Georgia and subject to its professional conduct rules. The practitioners of Northline Counsel Sp. z o.o. are members of the Okręgowa Rada Adwokacka in Warsaw and subject to the Code of Ethics of the Polish Bar. The practitioners of the Ukrainian office are members of the Ukrainian National Bar Association and subject to its disciplinary framework. Each regulator maintains independent supervisory authority over the practitioners within its jurisdiction.

Scope of services

The firm provides legal advisory services only in the jurisdictions in which its partners are admitted. Cross-jurisdictional advice on any matter is provided exclusively through the partner admitted in the relevant jurisdiction, with appropriate coordination across offices where a mandate spans more than one legal system. The firm does not provide legal advice on matters outside the admitted jurisdictions of its partners and will refer such matters to appropriately qualified counsel.

Professional indemnity

Each affiliated entity maintains professional indemnity insurance at institutional standards appropriate to its practice, with policy limits at or above the levels required by the regulator of its jurisdiction. Details of cover, including the identity of the insurer and the geographic scope of the policies, are available on written request from the firm.

Client information

The firm does not accept unsolicited confidential information. The submission of an inquiry, whether through the website, by email, by telephone, or in person, does not of itself create an attorney-client relationship, an advocate-client relationship, or any other professional engagement. A formal engagement letter, executed after a conflicts check, is required for any advisory mandate. Communications before the execution of an engagement letter are not protected by attorney-client privilege or its equivalent and should not include confidential or privileged content.

Out-of-court dispute resolution

Disputes arising from mandates handled by Northline Counsel LLC may be raised through the State Bar of Georgia’s Office of the General Counsel. Disputes arising from mandates handled by the Warsaw office may be raised through the Okręgowa Rada Adwokacka disciplinary procedures. Disputes arising from mandates handled by the Kyiv office may be raised through the Ukrainian National Bar Association’s disciplinary procedure. Where a dispute concerns a cross-border mandate, the firm will identify the relevant forum in coordination with the client.
