Northline Counsel is a three-partner firm by design. The partnership is the practice — every engagement is led by a named partner from the founding group, with full accountability from scoping to delivery.
ON PARTNERSHIP
The partnership is small by design, not by circumstance.
We do not intend to be a large firm. Our mandates are complex, cross-jurisdictional, and regulatorily dense — export-controlled transactions, defense-industrial build-outs, and procurement programs that do not delegate well. A senior partner leads every engagement personally, from the initial scoping call through to closing and beyond. This is the commercial model of traditional Wall Street boutique practice, updated for the sectors and jurisdictions we work in.
Over time we expect to add senior counsel, associates, and support staff in each of our three offices to carry the operational weight of defense-industrial mandates. But the partnership will remain small. We measure capacity in mandates, not in headcount.
